Notes

Also this comes straight from the John Cipollina's collection, i personally made a copy of his reel
and his notes....I did not touch the sound or edited anything in the trasfer, you get what
i got in first place. Some songs are cut or partial. Superb jam, definetly a must have.....

Some of the stuff on here is cool, notably the second jam, Ghost Riders and Winin' Boy, and Tore Down is a nice little blues. The rest is not really that good, being pretty monotonous, nowhere-going jams.

The Compendium is probably wrong: somebody is clearly playing organ on track 1, but if it's Hopkins or Saunders they're pretty muted. However, it sounds to me like Jack Casady is sitting in on that same track, and nobody's mentioned him yet. It wouldn't surprise me, since this sounds like it might be a lead-up to the sessions for "If I Could Only Remember My Name", which came out the same year if I'm not mistaken.

An incredibly unique, mindblowing show. A must have for any serious deadhead.

Totally wow!! As important a part of musical history that I have been fortunate to stumble across in my life! Great thanks....I hope that it is Merle in there - RIP.

Thanx John and 38f. What a treat. I had just one disc worth of this show(?). It has a different sound. I prefer this version. You can hear keys. The Taper's Compendium lists Merle Saunders and Nicky Hopkins. Peace
